Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years in a higher education environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan

• Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines.
• Complete annual compliance activities.
• Audit programs and locations for readiness and compliance.
• Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, report concerns.
• Complete applications and reports for regulatory bodies accurately and timely.
• Coordinate advisory board meetings, document minutes and actions.

Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards

• Keep updated on accreditation standards and procedures.
• Develop resources to navigate standards across regions and programs.
• Maintain documentation and records on MyHerzing.
• Provide training on regulatory standards.

Project management for regulatory reporting

• Manage timelines, support, and quality assurance for reports.
• Collaborate on accreditation and regulatory submissions.
• Review standards and advise leadership.
• Communicate project status and needs.

Promote regulatory visit readiness

• Conduct mock visits, prepare for on-site visits.
• Support leaders and visitors during visits.

Position the University for strategic growth

• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs.
• Participate in strategic discussions.
• Represent the university externally within regulatory guidelines.
• Advise on accreditation processes for new programs and markets.

Physical Requirements

• Up to 30% travel required.
• Remain stationary most of the time, with occasional movement.
• Operate equipment and communicate effectively.
