Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• At least three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• At least five years of experience in a higher education environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders, manage project plans and timelines to meet regulatory goals.
• Complete annual compliance activities as assigned.
• Audit programs and locations to ensure compliance with academic standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, and communicate concerns.
• Prepare applications and reports for regulatory bodies accurately and timely.
• Coordinate advisory board meetings and document outcomes.

• Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Keep updated on accreditation standards and develop resources for navigation.
• Create and update documentation illustrating standard variations across regions and programs.
• Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records and documentation on MyHerzing.
• Provide training on standards to university staff.

• Project management for regulatory reporting.
• Manage timelines, support, and quality assurance for submissions.
• Collaborate on accreditation and regulatory submissions.
• Review standards and advise senior leadership on opportunities.
• Update leadership on project status and needs.

• Ensure readiness for regulatory visits and meetings.
• Conduct mock visits and maintain visit preparation resources.
• Prepare leaders for regulatory presentations.
• Represent the compliance team during visits and meetings.
• Support logistical arrangements for site visitors.

• Support strategic growth of the university.
• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs.
• Participate in strategic discussions on program launches and discontinuations.
• Represent the university professionally to external entities.
• Collaborate on accreditation processes for new programs and markets.
• Advise on approval processes and timelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 30% travel required.
• Remain stationary most of the time; move around as needed.
• Operate equipment including computers and audiovisual tools.
• Communicate verbally with students and staff.
