Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced professional to manage government pricing submissions, analyze payer contracts, and optimize net sales. You will coordinate with finance, national accounts, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate discount accounting and compliant contract execution.

The role requires 8+ years in pricing/contracting within pharma/biotech, with strong data analysis skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Master's or JD a plus).
  • 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years government pricing and commercial contract experience.
  • Prior contract development or related experience in pharmaceutical/biotech.
  • Knowledge of policies/guidelines for contracts, rebates, and services in managed care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3rd-party vendor for GP monthly/quarterly requirements by reviewing data flows/processes to generate government pricing submissions.
  • Perform payer contract analysis of volume and discounts to ensure agreements are net sales profitable.
  • Track performance of contracted customers to identify opportunities to maximize net sales.
  • Collaborate with Finance during LRP to accurately account for discount levels for contracted customers and new contract opportunities.
  • Create reports to analyze trends; investigate discrepancies/outliers and propose adjustments.
  • Work cross-functionally with national account directors and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and obtain required approvals for key contract terms and conditions.
  • Respond to stakeholder questions regarding contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure execution of approved/finalized channel contracts, including timely handoffs and internal reviews.
  • Manage contract requests and ensure contract data/information is appropriately updated.
  • Support Pricing and Contracting Committee meetings.
  • Review customer invoices and processed claims from 3rd-party vendor to ensure payment accuracy.
  • Create executive summary reports (KPIs for executed payer contracts) and Industry Pricing Reports for the Market Access Team.
