Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Field Force Effectiveness to drive the effectiveness and operational cadence of customer-facing field teams across Commercial and Medical Affairs.

You will partner with field leadership to ensure teams have the right metrics, tools, and governance to execute business priorities. The role focuses on field reporting, targeting alignment, performance management, and governance across cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred.
• 7–8+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience in field force effectiveness, sales/medical operations, analytics, or CRM.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial and Medical Affairs leadership to define and advance field force effectiveness priorities.
• Translate brand and medical strategy into actionable field execution frameworks with cross‑functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve field productivity, focus, and execution quality.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve field performance.
• Define and manage field KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for Commercial; incorporate Medical Operations data.
• Monitor performance trends and identify actionable insights for decision-making.
• Lead development of business reviews and performance updates for leadership.
• Ensure visibility into field execution and business impact; support targeting, segmentation, and call planning.
• Manage field governance, alignment on metrics and dashboards; support POA processes and reviews.
