Job summary

Cytel is recruiting an Associate Director of Epidemiological Statistical Programming to provide senior technical leadership within the Epidemiology programming function for a sponsor-dedicated client in the US. You will translate study objectives into robust, reproducible programming solutions, mentoring colleagues and ensuring quality across projects.

You will develop SAS and/or R programs, oversee CROs, promote standards, and collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, and data scientists

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant statistical programming experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Advanced programming in SAS and/or R with reproducible workflows.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and coordinating across projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership to epidemiological programmers.
• Lead hands-on programming for epidemiological studies across therapeutic areas.
• Develop and maintain SAS and/or R programs for analyses and datasets.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, and data scientists to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee deliverables, timelines, and programming quality; promote best practices.
• Mentor team members and drive automation and standardization initiatives.
