Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of statistical programming experience in pharma/biotech/CRO with epi/RWE.
• Experience with Optum and Truveta.
• Advanced SAS and/or R programming to develop reproducible analyses.
• Experience with large healthcare data sources (claims, EHR, registries).
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership to statistical programmers supporting epidemiological and real‑world evidence studies.
• Lead and contribute hands‑on programming for epidemiological studies across therapeutic areas.
• Develop, validate, and maintain SAS and/or R programs for analysis datasets and outputs.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, data scientists to determine approaches.
• Provide expert technical consultation on complex programming and analytics challenges.
• Oversee and review programming deliverables for accuracy and timelines.
• Support programming activities using real‑world data sources (claims, EHR, registries).
• Develop analysis‑ready datasets, data transformations, QC procedures, and docs.
