Job summary

Cytel is seeking an Associate Director of Epidemiological Statistical Programming to lead and mentor a team delivering complex epidemiological analyses. You will translate study objectives into robust programming strategies, develop SAS and/or R programs, and ensure high-quality, reproducible results across multiple therapeutic areas.

You will collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, and data scientists, driving standards, automation, and scalable solutions while guiding CRO partnerships

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 8+ years of statistical programming in pharma or related field.
• Experience with epidemiology, real-world evidence and HEOR studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership to statisticians and programmers.
• Lead hands-on programming for epidemiological studies across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Develop and maintain SAS and/or R programs for analysis datasets and outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient analyses.
• Mentor colleagues, review approaches, and promote best practices.
• Oversee deliverables, ensure quality, and meet timelines.
