Job summary

Verizon is seeking an AI Connect Business Development Leader for Global Enterprise to drive the strategic adoption of Dark Fiber infrastructure and AI-enabled connectivity solutions. You will lead a high-performance BD team, build C-suite partnerships, and execute GTM plans across major industries to accelerate AI workloads.

The role is field-oriented and primarily based at customer locations, with occasional Verizon trainings.

• Proven leadership in complex, fast-paced business development with emerging tech.
• Experience building and scaling BD teams with focus on culture and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performance BD team focused on Dark Fiber infrastructure and AI-driven connectivity solutions.
• Build and manage C-suite relationships centered on AI transformation and high-capacity fiber foundations.
• Execute the GTM strategy for the AI Connect portfolio, prioritizing Dark Fiber for AI workloads.
• Cultivate and expand partnerships with Global Enterprise clients across key verticals: manufacturing, healthcare, finance, utilities, media/entertainment.
• Drive profitable revenue growth and adoption of high-margin AI-forward products.
• Collaborate with Verizon Business core account teams for AI Connect positioning.
• Mentor and motivate the team with a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement.
