Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks an Associate Director, Affordable Housing to lead a portfolio of affordable supportive housing properties. The role focuses on developing the mission, supervising on-site staff, and delivering high-quality services to residents while achieving strong financial performance.

The successful candidate will manage development and operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate resident services with a focus on safety and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Five years of multi-site management experience.
• Strong knowledge of housing development and property management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise on-site personnel for each property.
• Oversee property operations, budgets and financial statements.
• Develop and implement resident services coordination and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with housing codes, regs and contracts.
• Lead asset management and long-term repair/replacement planning.
• Maintain regulatory compliance across properties.
• Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
