Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a DevOps Engineer to guide architecture and engineering activities for our engineering and simulation solutions. The role spans data center, cloud, IoT, AI, and immersive experiences, with a focus on reusable standards and configurations across the infrastructure to enable business outcomes.

The engineer will implement IaC, improve observability, and drive SDLC optimization. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and strong container tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2 years of Infra/DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on with production workloads in on-prem or cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform) and configuration management.
• Strong CI/CD understanding (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high uptime, robust performance, and reliable service delivery.
• Write modular IaC configurations to build scalable environments (CI/CD, Docker, Terraform).
• Design and monitor application performance and service quality.
• Lead initial production troubleshooting and identify root causes.
• Streamline SDLC and automate workflows with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and present design, architecture, and deployment docs.
