New York Life in New York, NY seeks an Associate Development Manager to support agent onboarding, coaching, and development. You will partner with senior leaders to design curricula and manage NYLIC University scheduling while driving field performance.

This role emphasizes leadership growth, strategic coordination, and a path toward broader management, with a priority on compliance and FINRA pre‑hire requirements.

Qualifications

• A proven field leader with strong potential for leadership.
• Licensed with SIE, Series 6 & 63 and Life and Health licenses.
• Strong communicator and collaborator in a structured learning environment.
• Adaptable, resourceful, eager to contribute to the development of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, activation, and early performance milestones for agents.
• Implement development activities and planning conversations.
• Partner with Development Managers on curriculum planning and agent communications.
• Manage NYLIC University scheduling, communications, and progress tracking.
• Engage in performance insights and reporting to drive results.
• Build knowledge of key systems (GuideMe, Sales Central, Marketing Central, Dialogue).
• Contribute to national campaigns, Extra Days, and planning forums.
• Participate in development planning meetings with GO leaders.
