Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Virginia seeks an Associate Customer Success Specialist to oversee the complete order process from entry to delivery, ensuring the highest on-time delivery and fill rates. You will work closely with the Sales and Supply Chain teams to keep customers informed and satisfied in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high volumes while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Manage full life cycle of orders from entry to delivery, domestically and internationally.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to reduce shortages and late deliveries.
Address customer shortages, identify root causes, and propose recovery options.
Partner with Transportation to meet truck utilization goals and provide updates to customers and brokers.
Prioritize customer orders with Distribution Centers and Plants.
Ensure adherence to order management policies to optimize efficiency.
Maintain accurate Customer Master Data to avoid delays.
Support Loss Prevention with incorrect or rejected orders.
Build strong relationships with customers through clear communication.
