Job summary

Avantor seeks an Associate Counsel for the Technology and Indirect Sourcing team to support cloud technology, digital platforms and SaaS transactions. You will partner with IT, Privacy, Sourcing and Sales to enable technology use and guide licensing and vendor agreements enterprise-wide.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a JD, and US bar admission; strong drafting, negotiation, and collaboration skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the bar of at least one US State or DC.
• Meets local legal license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise agreements including routine sales forms and non-standard IT/tech agreements.
• Analyze draft contracts in accordance with Avantor policies.
• Advise IT, Sourcing, Sales and IT teams on complex vendor agreements and digital product contracting.
