Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Associate Counsel, Technology and Indirect Sourcing to support licensing and technology vendor agreements across the enterprise. You will work with IT, Privacy, Sourcing and Sales to enable the use of cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.

The role requires JD admission and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong negotiation and independent work capabilities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, business-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise IT and vendor agreements including standard and non-standard contracts.
• Advise on data processing agreements and digital product contracting.
• Coordinate contract negotiations with cross-departmental teams and obtain internal approvals.
• Develop playbooks/templates for consistent legal review across IT and technology agreements.
