Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Associate Counsel to support the technology and information security legal team. The role focuses on cloud technology, digital platforms and SaaS transactions, with emphasis on IT vendor agreements across Avantor's enterprise.

You will work with IT, Privacy, Sourcing and Sales teams to enable technology use, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and help implement templates and playbooks for consistent legal review.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the bar of at least one US State or DC.
• Meets local legal license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise agreements including routine sales agreements and non-standard agreements for customers, suppliers, distributors, and service engagements.
• Advise on IT vendor agreements and digital product contracting efforts with Sourcing, Sales, and IT teams.
• Develop and support templates and playbooks for consistent legal review across IT, security engagements and technology agreements.
