Job summary

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our national creditor rights team.

The ideal candidate must be admitted to the Nevada bar, demonstrate exceptional organizational, written and verbal skills, and handle a heavy caseload with professionalism. You will draft, review and file pleadings, advocate for clients at various litigation settings, and use our proprietary software to update case status.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Nevada and in good standing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Highly motivated self-starter with eagerness to learn.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be able to work a minimum 40-hour week and read position-specific documents.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and outside parties.
• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery in active litigation files.
• Review litigation case files to determine appropriate action.
• Advocate on behalf of the client’s interests at various litigation settings.
• Utilize internal proprietary software to update and document the status of each account.
• Analyze and process litigation inventory reports and files as assigned by Managing Attorney.
• Comply with client and firm SOPs.
• Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
