Job summary

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Somerset, NJ seeks an Associate Attorney with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills to join our national creditor rights practice. The role requires admission to NY bar and a commitment to high-volume litigation support.

The base salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 per year, plus applicable bonus, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a leading debt-collection law firm.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York (must be in good standing)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel to courtrooms within the branch footprint

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery in active litigation files
• Advocate for the client’s interests at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Travel to various courtrooms as required
• Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting client interests
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and court procedures
