Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, or 2 - 4 years related experience.
• Background in the health insurance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of orders.
• Work with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to obtain order authorization.
• Review documents to ensure third-party payer criteria.
• Track funding authorization cases to completion.
• Communicate with funding agencies to verify eligibility.
• Review prior authorization documents.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system.
• Advocate for clients and coordinate with third-party insurers.
• Resolve denials and provide consultation.
• Notify supervisor of potential challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
