Job summary

Tobii Dynavox, a world leader in assistive communication solutions, seeks a Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and rental orders. You will work with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to secure approvals and ensure documents meet third party payer criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2–4 years related experience.
• Background in the health insurance field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on document prep and policies.
• Work with insurance providers, government agencies, and schools to place orders.
• Track funding authorization cases to completion in a timely manner.
• Verify eligibility using online resources and funding agencies.
• Review documents against third party payer criteria.
• Research past orders and payment history for new or repair orders.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system.
• Advise clients and families on funding requests and co-payments with insurers.
• Resolve third party denials and counsel on difficult cases.
• Notify supervisor of potential payer challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
