Job summary

Generations is seeking caring caregivers for Somerset Assisted Living in Oregon. You will assist residents with daily living activities, following care plans and community standards with dignity and compassion.

The role emphasizes teamwork and a growth-minded environment in a senior living setting. Full-time shifts are available, with opportunities for on-the-job training, benefits, and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate and patient.

Job description

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Full-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule
• 8-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
