Job summary

Generations is hiring caregivers to support residents in memory care and assisted living in Oregon. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Following care plans and collaborating with leadership, you contribute to a safe, caring community.

We welcome both experienced caregivers and newcomers. Part-time shifts are available with PTO, health benefits, 401(k) match, on-the-job training, and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate and patient.

Job description

Caregivers at Cherrywood Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Part-time in Memory Care, Saturdays through Mondays, from 6:00 am - 2:15 pm
• Part-time in Assisted LIving, Thursdays through Saturdays, from 6:00 am - 2:15 pm
• Part-time in Assisted Living, Saturdays through Mondays, from 6:00 am - 2:15 pm
• Part-time in Assisted Living, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10:00 pm - 6:15 am
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
