Job summary

Paradise Village in National City, CA is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist residents with activities of daily living while upholding dignity and respect. You will follow individualized care plans and work with leadership to ensure safe, quality care in a welcoming community.

Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required; certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus. We offer PTO, comprehensive benefits, and on-the-job training to support your growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Description

Caregivers at Paradise Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Part Time AM 6am-2pm or PM 2pm 10pm
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Rotating schedule, full availability is preferred
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
