Job summary

Generations operates Somerset Assisted Living in Gladstone, Oregon, seeking caring caregivers to help residents with daily living activities and to follow care plans with dignity and compassion.

Join a dedicated team on shifts including early and late hours, with 4 days on/2 days off rotation. Generations offers training, PTO, medical benefits, and opportunities for growth in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification - training is available upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) following care plans.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion in all interactions.
• Follow Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents’ well-being.

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation's Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Part-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Full-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule
• 8-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
