Job summary

Somerset Assisted Living in Gladstone, OR is seeking caring caregivers to support residents with daily living activities, following care plans, and upholding dignity and respect. Full-time and part-time shifts available, including early and evening hours, with a 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Caregiver preferred but not required.
• Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training available on hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Description

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Part-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Full-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule
• 8-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
