Job summary

Generations LLC in Gladstone, Oregon, is seeking caregivers for Somerset Assisted Living to help residents with daily living activities and follow care plans with dignity and compassion.

We offer full-time on-site work, 8-hour shifts, rotating schedules, PTO, health benefits, 401k matching, and on-the-job training. CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged; equality of opportunity is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) following care plans.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect and compassion in daily interactions.
• Follow Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation.
• Work with community leadership and on-site teams to deliver quality care.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support residents.

Description

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Full-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule
• 8-hour shifts
• Holiday availability preferred
