Job summary

Generations is seeking compassionate caregivers at Paradise Village in National City, CA to assist residents with daily living activities while upholding dignity and respect. You will follow individualized care plans under community leadership, provide on-the-job support, and collaborate with a dedicated team to create a safe, engaging environment for residents and families alike.

This part-time role offers benefits including PTO, health coverage for full-time staff, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Caregiver preferred but not required.
• Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Job description

Caregivers at Paradise Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Part Time AM 6am-2pm or PM 2pm 10pm
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Rotating schedule, full availability is preferred
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
