Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in operations, guest service, staff management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies. Qualifications

• 2 years store management experience in a customer-centric retail environment.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time/attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager with daily assignments and directing work.
• Assist in hiring and promotion decisions with feedback and recommendations.
• Lead and inspire the team during scheduled shifts and enforce policies.
• Drive sales by coaching Bear Builders and creating a guest-centric experience.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards.
• Exercise judgment to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management including receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Help develop a high-performing team delivering exceptional guest experiences.
