Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in New York (Franklin Square area) seeks a Business Banker to proactively source and retain client relationships, acting as SME on Deposit, Credit and Cash Management products.

You will drive cross-branch collaboration, manage loan requests up to $250K and support a structured sales plan to grow deposits and revenue. The role requires 5–8 years in banking with strong consultative and analytical skills, plus a mortgage originator registration.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience, preferably 2-5 years banking experience or 2-3 years in Business Banking
• Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex financial and company operating information
• This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities, to maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, to update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and to provide that unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead as SME across a sales area of assigned branches and partner with cross retail segments
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Consumer and Mortgage to optimize relationships and execute sales plan
• Manage portfolio risks, credit requests up to $250K, and work with Senior Bankers on larger loans
• Develop and execute integrated sales plans to drive new client acquisition and deepen existing relationships
• Adhere to internal controls and compliance policies across Citi products and services
