Citigroup Inc. in Long Island City, NY seeks a proactive Business Banker to source, acquire, expand and retain customer relationships, acting as SME on Deposit, Credit and Cash Management products.

You will collaborate with Wealth Management, Consumer and Mortgage teams, drive a sales plan to hit scorecard targets, manage up to $250K in credit, and ensure a world‑class customer experience while adhering to Citi policies.

• 5-8 years of experience, banking preferred
• Exceptional consulting skills; ability to probe, listen, clarify and present information to advance sales transactions
• Demonstrate analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex financial information
• Professional presentation skills
• Strong working knowledge of credit structuring and processing; credit trained preferred
• Highly effective communication and influence skills
• Customer oriented and responsive
• Superior organizational skills
• Mortgage license registration and ongoing maintenance required as per regulatory and Citi policies

• Lead as the subject matter expert across a broad sales Area of assigned branches
• Partner with cross retail segment Area peers and collaborate to optimize relationships
• Accountable to scorecard metrics and KPIs
• Support the development of small business knowledge within the area team
• Call on high-value clients to deepen relationships and uncover future needs
• Educate clients on products and services to grow balance and revenue
• Manage credit requests up to $250K and coordinate with Sr. Bankers for higher amounts
• Develop and execute integrated sales plans to maximize territory potential
• Adhere to Citi sales policies and procedures
• Proactively manage a portfolio of high-value clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing across branches
