Citi in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Business Banker to proactively source, grow, and retain client relationships while delivering a world-class customer experience. You will serve as SME on Deposit, Credit, and Cash Management products and collaborate with Wealth Management and Mortgage partners to optimize relationships and drive revenue.

The role requires 5–8 years in banking (or 2–3 in Business Banking), strong consulting and analytical skills, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in banking or 2-3 years in Business Banking.
• Mortgage loan originator registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SME across a broad sales area of branches and partners.
• Partner with cross-retail area peers to optimize relationships and sales.
• Drive scorecard metrics and KPIs defined by senior management.
• Call on high-value clients to deepen relationships and uncover needs.
• Develop and execute an integrated sales plan to acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with risk and credit teams to manage loan closings.
