Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to modernize legacy PVCS/ANT processes, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployments using GitHub Actions and Artifactory.

You will redesign environment promotion and support migration of legacy interfaces to modern architectures, including React-based web apps and microservices. Strong automation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7+ years in Configuration Management.
• 5+ years in GitHub, CI/CD, Artifactory, and modernization.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows automation including scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of legacy development, build, and release processes to GitHub-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement modern software delivery solutions (GitHub Actions, Artifactory-driven promotions).
• Analyze and document legacy build processes to support migration and technical debt reduction.
• Develop automation using Python, Shell, PowerShell to reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations to onboard apps into GitHub, SonarQube, and governance frameworks.
• Promote software quality through automated testing, release validation, and code review.
