Job summary

NYC Department of Social Services through ITS is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to drive cloud migration and modernization for critical applications. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins while guiding teams on cloud readiness and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in datacenter/ cloud IT infra.
Alternatively, 8+ years in relevant fields.
Equivalence of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

Assess architecture, dependencies, data flows, and security for cloud migration.
Define migration requirements with analysts, owners, developers, and vendors.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
Modernize legacy .NET/Java/API components for cloud readiness.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards for observability.
Coordinate migration activities across teams and stakeholders.
Provide guidance on cloud deployment, pipelines, containers, and governance.
