About Us:

Restoration 1 of Chicago Lincoln Park is a locally owned and operated water damage restoration company dedicated to helping homeowners and businesses recover quickly and professionally after property damage. We're growing and looking for a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day operations.

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our team with office management and customer coordination. This role is essential in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers receive timely, high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and care
  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to job sites
  • Manage onboarding documents and processes for new hires
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate job records
  • Generate daily and weekly reports for management
  • Handle accounts payable tasks and basic bookkeeping
  • Provide exceptional customer service and conduct follow-up calls
  • Support team members with scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or office experience (restoration or service industry a plus)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with scheduling, phone systems, and dispatch tools
  • Familiarity with basic accounting or AP systems
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Experience with platforms like Xcelerate, Encircle, Xactimate or other insurance software is a plus

Schedule:

  • Full Time (40-45 hours/week). Possibly open to Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)depending qualifications.
  • Flexible hours; some weekend availability may be preferred
