Job summary

YMCA is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Allentown, PA to support children ages 1-2 in a part-time role. The position runs Monday–Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm with an hourly wage of $14–$15. What is needed for this job

• High school diploma
• Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
• Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Past experience working with children ages 1-2
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
