The YMCA in Newtown, PA is hiring an Assistant Preschool Teacher for year-round, full-time, hourly work, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:15am–4:45pm, at $16.00–$17.00 per hour. This role supports early learning and community engagement and invites passionate, playful educators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children in professional, volunteer, or familial settings.

• Ability to pass all relevant clearances.

What is needed for this job

• Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
• High school diploma
• Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
