Job summary

The Allentown YMCA is seeking a School Age Child Care Assistant to support the before- and after-school program. This part-time, hourly role covers morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday in Allentown, PA.

You’ll help kids learn, stay safe, and enjoy engaging activities with a friendly team. Qualifications include 18+ years old, 2+ years working with children, a high school diploma or some college, and the ability to pass all necessary clearances.

• 1+ year of Leadership/Supervisory experience in a child care setting
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances

• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Assisting the site director with day to day functions of before or after school daycare program
• Aiding the kids through activities, snack time, homework etc.
