Job summary

YMCA Bethlehem is seeking an Assistant Child Care Teacher in Bethlehem, PA. The role is full-time, hourly, with Monday–Friday 6:00am–6:00pm shifts and a $14.00-$17.00 hourly range. You’ll nurture children, connect with families, and contribute to a warm, learning-focused environment.

You should have a high school diploma, 21+ years old with 2+ years’ child experience, and be willing to obtain required clearances. YMCA benefits include membership and flexible scheduling.

What is needed for this job

• High school diploma
• Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
• Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances
