Job summary

Studs, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager in Austin to support daily studio operations, coach team members, and uphold an exceptional customer experience. You will partner with the Studio Manager to drive revenue and maintain standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to Studs’ values, with a schedule including evenings and weekends and eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail management and customer-facing team leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule of five days per week (38-40 hours), including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) required, excluding PTO.
• Full-time commitment to Studs and prioritizing studio responsibilities.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Comfortable handling chemicals and following health/safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Studio operations in the Studio Manager’s absence.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and routine task completion with attention to detail.
• Track daily performance and support sales strategies to drive revenue.
• Partner with the Studio Manager to identify trends in key metrics.
• Uphold safety and piercing regulations and escalate issues as needed.
• Guide the floor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to support performance.
• Contribute to team development and uphold Studs values.
