Job summary

Stretch Zone is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager in the New York area to oversee daily operations, drive membership growth, and guide a high-performing team.

In this role you’ll open the studio, greet members, manage check-ins, and lead by example while supporting sales goals and KPI tracking. You’ll receive base pay plus commission, paid time off, training, and opportunities to advance to Studio Manager.

A Day in the Life

• Your day starts by opening the studio and ensuring everything is clean, organized, and ready to welcome members.
• As members arrive, you greet them by name, check them in, and make sure each person feels comfortable and cared for.
• Throughout the day, you lead by example—checking the schedule, answering phones, and following up on missed appointment, and delegating tasks.
• You support the team in meeting membership sales goals by demonstrating how to communicate the value of practitioner-assisted stretching.
• Between appointments, you're tracking performance metrics, reviewing KPIs, and ensuring the studio is hitting daily and monthly goals alongside the Studio Manager. If a member has a question or concern, you're there to resolve it with professionalism and a personal touch.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in gym or fitness studios.
• Retail sales experience (cash handling, KPIs, P&L familiarity).
• A genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed.
