Total Wine & More in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and leading a knowledgeable team. You will support store operations, drive sales, and build a customer-focused culture while maximizing profitability.

The role requires a 2+ year supervisory retail background and a Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. You will manage payroll, inventory, and training to develop staff and ensure compliance with alcohol

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in retail
• 2+ years of work experience with 1–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs)
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example, fostering a welcoming and knowledgeable store atmosphere, and resolving customer issues
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
