Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and building a sales-driven culture. You will support store operations and report to the Store Manager, helping to expand the customer base and profitability.

You will lead a team, manage payroll and inventory, and ensure compliance with laws around alcohol sales. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in a supervisory/managerial role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, and merchandising.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
