FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop team members, and deliver outstanding customer service across a wide range of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, and tools. This role offers $13.00–$19.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and a store performance bonus, with typical hours from 9AM to 6PM and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
