Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, drive daily operations, and develop a high-performing team across jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

You will gain hands-on leadership experience while delivering exceptional customer service and optimizing store performance. You will coach, train, schedule, handle cash, monitor inventory, and contribute to sales and profitability goals while maintaining attractive merchandising

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
