Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team. You will support daily operations, coach employees, drive sales, and build lasting customer relationships across a broad range of merchandise.

This role offers competitive pay of $16.50–$19.50 per hour plus unlimited commission and store performance bonuses. You’ll gain hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible scheduling, earned wage access, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
