Job summary

The Salvation Army Canoga Park Thrift Store is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily retail operations and staff, ensuring a positive customer and donor experience. You will partner with the Store Manager and oversee activities when needed, coaching employees and maintaining ARC merchandising standards.

Requirements include 2+ years in retail management, strong cash handling skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
• Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Valid Driver's license and proof of insurance; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Oversee store operations when Store Manager is absent.
• Coach, train, and develop store employees.
