Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and maintain organized stock areas and merchandised displays.

The role includes opening/closing duties, payroll/scheduling duties, and loss prevention responsibilities, with a focus on a positive, safe, and productive work environment. This is a part-time on-site position in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store-fronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, deposits, receipts).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
