Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Bristol Township location. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure displays meet standards.

You will supervise Store Associates, schedule, handle payroll records, and enforce safety policies. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a proactive, friendly approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and explaining operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and payroll records.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
