Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and leadership to supervise daily tasks, train associates, and uphold company standards at our Pennsylvania location. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as listed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Aid in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cashier deposits and receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed by all associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
