Qualifications

• Experience in retail or grocery store management preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store with organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance.
• Help the Store Manager supervise and train Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
