Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise handling, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring displays and stockrooms meet company standards.

The role emphasizes safe, positive interactions with customers and staff, supervising and training associates, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
